X factor
The programme is broadcasted on channel four . The programme comes on twice a week , on a saturday where the contestants show their talent of , and on the next shows , one contestant leaves the show due to a lack of votes from the public voting on whom to keep in within the show. There is a follow up to the show , on itv 2 sky channel 118. This show consist of backstage gossip and a interviews with contestants who have been voted of . The show is called " Xtra factor". Celebrities whom watch the show , also comment on the contestants preformance and give them tips on how to improve and also positive feedback. This show also gives the oppurtunity to the public to call in the studios live , and talk to the judges over the phone and again give their positive and negative feedback . Some of the public can be negative be rude on the phone , whilst order can tell the judges on how they are doing a good job and give them positive critisism.
There was a magazine also published in order to give backstage gossip to the public and tell them what happens behind the scenes of the x factor houses and studios.

This is good for people that cant watch x factor , due to being aboard, or may of missed last weeks episode , therefore , not to feel isolated , the x factor broadcasters deceided to cater to the needs of the audiences whom are located online.

Games have also been produced within the sector of print. This shows , even when it is not the season of the show , and the programme is not aired, due to the prints of the programme in the media market , the publicity of the X factor will still be going out , and the company will still receive a good amount of profit within their show. Also , it appeals to more audiences , if the programme produces games and magazines , it can widen the audience , and get more people appealed of the programme , with the institutions that are the outcome of the programme.

As result of winning the x factor programme, the winner receives a contract deal and also gets their music video and album song played out and is usually a christmas number one. This can cause contraversy due to other artist that have been working hard to get to the number one spot , but due to the large publitict

As this text is on a television broadcaster , people from different cultures and countrys can view the programme from all over the world , as the text is broadcasted all over britatin. Also as the programme consist of different cultures and ethnic backgrounds , the audince can appeal to the programme as it consists of different set of talents and also gives gratifications out to the audience by having escapisism within the programme, where people dont feel critisied themselves and can critic others instead. Also for the factor of comedy. The audience play a huge part in this programme as they are the viewers of the programme on the television and also inside the studio where the talent show takes place. Also the viewers can vote of people on the show and decided who gets to preform on the royal variety show.
There has also been a Britain got talent game which can also give profit to the brand when the show is not in season. This can also show interaction from the audiences and also keep them interested at the same time. Also people from different age groups can also increase the target audience of the game where anyone can play it at any time. It also makes the audience feel like they are recreating the game at home.
Big Brother
This show came out 10 years ago and got axed in 2010. It has many seasons which consisted of celebrity and normal people. This show appealed immensely to many target audiences as there was a huge range of the characters within the show. Audiences can vote of contestants that they hate and dont want to win the large sum of money at the end of the game.
